On May 7–9, 2026, the Director of the Jagiellonian Center for Artificial Intelligence, Prof. Bartosz Zieliński, took part in the international conference Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIMed) 2026, held in Kraków and online.

Researchers from the Jagiellonian Centre for Artificial Intelligence (JCSI) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Jagiellonian University, in collaboration with scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, have developed a new method for explaining the operation of artificial intelligence models – DAVE.

On April 29, 2026, the official inauguration of the Connecting the Future Foundation took place. Its mission is to support collaboration between academia, industry, and the public sector in the field of modern technologies, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence.

We have defined four strategic areas of activity for the Jagiellonian Centre for Artificial Intelligence, along with a support system for AI-related projects.

On 22 April 2026, the director of the Jagiellonian Centre for Artificial Intelligence took part in the conference "Mental health and beyond – AI in medicine."
